The SSS/TRIO Program provides online and in person course selection, personal & 职业生涯 counseling, and scholarship recources. Our program also provides student support and priority registration for SSS/TRIO 学生. The SSS/TRIO staff also provide financial aid, scholarships and financial literacy online workshops. The program hosts bilingual parent workshops to further assist parents in understanding the community college 过程. SSS/TRIO provides a welcoming environment at the SSS/TRIO hub D114 on main 校园. Most important of all, the SSS/TRIO program will provide a guided pathway to success for you!

The History of the 滚球投注 TRIO Student Support Services Program
The TRIO Student Support Services Program at 滚球投注 is a student retention
program that serves 300 TRIO 学生. Our TRIO Student Support Services Program started
in 2005 and as of 2023, we have graduated and/or transferred the majority of our TRiO
学生!
TRIO is funded by the US Department of Education and the history of the Federal TRIO
programs dates back to the 1960's. The mission of the TRIO Program as given to the
TRiO staff by President Obama, is to provide supportive educational services that
will help low income and first generation 学生 acquire a university and/or community
大学学位. President Obama wanted to increase the college graduation rate within
the United States and the President is especially focused on increasing community
college graduation rates.
The TRIO at 滚球投注 is designed as a student support program to assist our
TRiO 学生 to attain their Associate of Arts degree and then transfer to a university
to attain their bachelors degree. The TRIO program provides needed academic support
and “PRO-ACTIVE” student services to our 学生. By INTRUSIVE student services,
we mean that we actively motivate our 学生 to come into the TRIO office to meet
with the TRIO counselors, meet with the TRIO tutors, attending TRIO workshops on Educational
Planning, Career Planning, Financial Literacy, 金融援助 and Scholarships, attend
fieldtrips to state universities, and attend cultural events.
